Accompagnement et formation pour les start-ups de l'Incubateur Midi-Pyrénées dans la découverte de la démarche Design

Jeudi 15 Mai dernier, Emilie Cazin (designer), Julie Jodet de La Serre et Mathieu Laffond (designer services) ont accompagné les start-ups de l'Incubateur Midi-Pyrénées dans la découverte de la démarche Design dans le processus de création d'entreprise.
Une formation mettant en avant une boîte à outils d'accompagnement personnalisé ayant pour but de tester les cibles, les scénarios d'usages, des panels d'usagers... Autant de moyens mis à disposition pour garantir un lancement optimal de la start-up sur le marché et donc garantir sa réussite.
Notre équipe constituée de compétences complémentaires accompagne toute entreprise dans son projet d'innovation que ce soit le lancement d'une start-up comme l'actualisation d'une entreprise existante.

"Pyrène" / Nouvelle collection d'objets pour le Nouvel Atelier- New products for Le Nouvel Atelier

Née de la collaboration entre Richard Fournier, ébéniste et Emilie Cazin, designer, la collection « Pyrène » est réalisée en Midi-Pyrénées et a pour but de valoriser la filière bois.
Elle reprend quelques images emblématiques de ce relief comme l’ours, la marmotte, les balisages de randonnées ou encore l’empilement de troncs d’arbres de l’exploitation forestière… pour donner une seconde vie aux chutes d’atelier. Les essences de bois utilisées sont donc variables en fonction des projets en cours. Une autre façon de valoriser aussi l'unicité des pièces.


Born from the collaboration between Richard Fournier, a carpenter and Emilie Cazin, designer, The “Pyrene” collection is made in Midi-Pyrénées (South of France) and aims to promote the wood industry of the Pyrenean mountains.
It represents few iconic images of this relief as bears, marmots, markings of hiking trails or stacking of tree trunks logging ... to give a second life to loss pieces from the workshop. Types of wood used evolves depending of what is done in the workshop at that time. An other way to highlight the uniqueness of the pieces.

For the 30th Anniversary of MEMPHIS, POST DESIGN GALLERY hosts an Art and Design worldwide competition of Ideas.

I M A G I N A T U R E  2 0 1 2
The competition asks for a new understanding of the function of Imagination by international young artists and designers, who will have to invent an object which emphasizes the controversial relation between Humans and Nature. The seed of the human curiosity, the hunger for discoveries and the manual and intellectual creativity is drawn within Art, Design and the ancient profession of Inventors. Nature has always been a muse for human imagination, the geometry and the patterns and textures that constellate the natural landscapes, written into the human’s mind, sneak into the collective cultural memories. The ancient relationship between Humanity and Nature, necessary and instinctive, brings Mankind back to the need of dealing with space through fastening the use of time. The object becomes a necessity for all humans, animals with no defenses apart from their own minds.

What does the Human need to go back to natural sensations?
What aspects of Nature can help to rediscover these instincts?
What can Humans build to understand better the magic of Nature? What is written behind this natural stage constellated with lives?
How can we translate the natural language into material forms?

The projects were judged according to Shape definition, Aesthetics and Philosophy. An important factor that has also been considered is the practicality and function of the project in relation to the theme’s development. Start imagining!
